Thursday: 5:15 a.m. Du The Du II small group training, followed by 6:30 a.m. Step at Feminine Fitness; 6:30 p.m. Studio Sampler at New York Sports Club Butler

Where’s Kim?

The rain is here all week, folks – beat the gray days by getting in a great workout or three!

Thursday: 5:30 a.m. Bonus Spin class (for those who took both Endurance Spin and Boot Camp Spin) and 6:30 a.m. Step at Feminine Fitness; 6:30 p.m. Studio Sampler at New York Sports Club Butler

Sunday: 9 a.m. Step at New York Sports Club Parsippany

It’s A Group Thing: Do The Du Outdoors!

superstock_1098r-6279ayoung-woman-running-with-headphones-posters1All of this warm weather (and a chat with Stephanie, one of the cool chicks who visits Haul Buns!) has inspired me: My next small group training will be Do The Du Outdoors! We’ll do a half-hour Spinning ride on the bikes inside Feminine Fitness, then 20 minutes of walking/running work in the area surrounding the gym — just like a duathlon! Ten minutes of cool-down and stretching will finish off the 60-minute class. You’ll burn calories, build endurance and have a great time in the great outdoors while you do it! The six-week session will meet at 5:15 a.m. Thursdays (May 21 & 28, June 4, 11, 18 and 25). Cost is $60, no cancellations or refunds. Wednesday: 7 p.m. Intro Step/Step I at Feminine Fitness

Thursday: 5:15 a.m. small group training (Boot Camp Spin — final session), followed by 6:30 a.m. Step Blast at Feminine Fitness.

Friday: 6 a.m. Spin at Fitness Factory

Why sweat alone at home when you can sweat with us at the gym???

DATE CHANGE: Free Spin Class

If you signed up for both my Endurance Spin and Spin Boot Camp small group trainings, you’re entitled to a free Spin class that was scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 2. I’m now going to be out of town on that date, so I have to change the date of that free class to 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 7.

If you didn’t sign up for both sessions but would like to participate in the May 7 Spin class anyway, it’s $10. Just let me know to expect you!

Where’s Kim?

This week’s schedule is pretty usual: I’m teaching Intro Step/Step I at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Step Blast at 6:30 a.m. Thursday at Feminine Fitness in Hackensack. I’m also subbing the 9 a.m. Cardio Mix and 10 a.m. Body Sculpt classes at Excel Fitness at the Excelsior in Hackensack stepon Saturday, March 21. Let me know if you’re interested in coming!
Also, race season is ramping up again! Yay! I’ll be running the New York Colon Cancer Challenge 15K (which also has a 4-mile race attached) in Central Park this Sunday. If you’re signed up for this sold-out run, too, give me a shout.
